introduction

I'm no travel writer and don't really have the time to give a polished narrative of my trip to Japan. Still, I wanted to do something a little more than just post a bunch of pictures. Thus I've assembled photos along with a bare-bones narrative, organized as a series of blog entries by the appropriate dates. I've tried to keep the photos relatively small so that they load relatively quickly. Enjoy.
